I just feel angry about letting myself getting into the position to make the call.

There is a good chance I am doing the NorthCoast 24 in a little over 3 weeks. Under trained, over weight - Just like Leadville. I give myself a 5-10% chance of > 135 miles, but what the heck.

Then it will be off to some serious training for a May or June 2012 24 hour race.

Michael Henze
A-Big-HorseAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1420754722602512357.post-57474656266678727882011-08-25T08:34:47.677-07:002011-08-25T08:34:47.677-07:00Definitely the right move, DB. It's just the body's trying to make up for lack of oxygen before making new red blood cells. Either you have to spend time acclimating, stick to low altitude or get used to the extra effort.SteveQhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16943650844671498074noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1420754722602512357.post-15554220977330412722011-08-24T08:41:41.428-07:002011-08-24T08:41:41.428-07:00Damn, followed on RA.
